Buying shuffleboard tables
Our shuffleboard tables come from Hudson in three lengths: the 9 ft Montauk at $3,995, the 12 ft Sutton at $5,495 and the 14 ft Huntington at $7,495. All three are about 20 in wide, with a hardwood playfield, a solid wood cabinet and channel gutters. The only real decision is length, and the room makes that decision for you.
Each end needs 2 to 3 ft of standing room, so a 9 ft table needs a room 13 to 15 ft long, a 12 ft table needs 16 to 18 ft, and a 14 ft table needs 18 to 20 ft. Our shuffleboard table sizes guide shows which size suits which room and covers climate and maintenance. The room size calculator checks your measurements.
These are heavy tables, from about 420 to 690 lb, so plan the route to the room before you order. If you are fitting shuffleboard next to another game, our basement game room layout guide has sample plans. Tables ship curbside by default, and we strongly suggest white glove delivery for the 14 ft Huntington.
Match the table to the room length. A 9 ft table suits a 13 to 15 ft room, a 12 ft table suits 16 to 18 ft, and a 14 ft table suits 18 to 20 ft. The 12 ft Sutton is the size most buyers choose.
About 20 in on all of our tables, so plan roughly 6 ft of room width once you add 2 ft at each side.
Yes, but little. Use a light layer of shuffleboard powder, wipe the playfield with a dry cloth, keep water off it and check the level every few months.
Curbside by default. The tables weigh 420 to 690 lb, so confirm the route to the room first, and consider white glove delivery, which we strongly suggest for the 14 ft table.
