Overview
A 9 ft table is the size used for most competitive play, with a playfield of 50 x 100 in. The Augusta is built for a room that is meant to hold it, and it needs the floor space to match.
The bed is slate. The frame is heavier than on the smaller models in this lineup, with a more detailed finish. If the room is large enough for this table, it will be the focus of the room.
Delivery of a 9 ft slate table is a two-person job at minimum. We recommend white glove service, which includes assembly and leveling.
Room requirement
Minimum assumes a standard 58 in cue with full clearance on every side of the Augusta. Add 2 ft each way if you shoot with a longer cue or want room for spectators.

It depends on the room. You need at least 19.0 x 14.9 ft clear. If that is not available, the 8 ft table is the better purchase.
Somewhat. Shots are longer and the pockets are less forgiving than on a smaller table, which is why it is used for serious play.
