Overview
The York is an 8 ft slate table, the size most people mean when they say a full-size table for the house. The 44 x 88 in playfield feels roomy without needing the extra floor space of a 9 footer.
Construction is a solid frame with slate bed and a finish that reads as furniture rather than a game table. Several wood tones are offered, plus cloth colors to match the room. We find this combination suits living rooms and dens where the table is visible from the rest of the house.
Setup is done on site, and the slate must be leveled with shims and checked with a level before the cloth is installed. We recommend adding white glove delivery.
Room requirement
Minimum assumes a standard 58 in cue with full clearance on every side of the York. Add 2 ft each way if you shoot with a longer cue or want room for spectators.

About 18.0 x 14.4 ft is the practical minimum with a standard cue. Measure from wall to wall, not to the furniture.
The 8 ft table has a playfield 6 in wider and 12 in longer. Shots are longer and the game is less cramped, though the room requirement grows to match.
