Convertible Dining & Game Tables
Dining tables that turn into poker or board game tables: which models include the top, which offer it as an add-on, and how delivery works.
Updated November 4, 2026 · Grand Game Room specialists
A convertible dining game table is one piece of furniture doing two jobs: a dining table at mealtimes, and a poker or board game table once the top comes off. It is the practical answer when the dining room is the only room big enough for game night.
Dining top included
- BBO Helmsley 2-in-1 Poker & Dining Table (Walnut): $2,899. Walnut, 70" long; seats 6 for dinner and up to 8 for poker. The matching solid wood dining top is part of the price.
- Game Theory Tables Helmsley 2-in-1 Dining & Game Table (Walnut): $2,899. The same table presented for board gamers, with padded armrests and built-in cup holders; dining top included.
Dining top available as an add-on
These tables are game tables first. A matching dining top turns them into a dining table, but it is not included in the price shown; ask us to add it to your order.
- Game Theory Tables Origins 2.0 Convertible Dining & Board Game Table (Onyx): $2,999. 72" solid wood board game dining table for 6–8 with a recessed vault, so a paused game can stay set up under the top (manufacturer list price of the top: from $799).
- Game Theory Tables Origins 2.0 Max Convertible Dining & Game Table (Onyx): $3,499. The 90" version for 8–10 players (top: $849 list).
- Also offered with a matching top by the manufacturers: Origins Max War, Origins Max EW, The Meeples Champion, Arena Digital Game Table, Table of Adventure, the folding Nomad Origins, Nomad Max and Nomad Max War, and for poker the Miya, Stratton, Axiom, Elite Alpha, Ginza, Lumen HD and WPT x BBO Lumen HD.

Free curbside freight to New York, New Jersey and Florida
Every price on these tables includes curbside freight delivery to the lower 48 states, which covers homes in New York, New Jersey and Florida as well as everywhere else on the mainland. We do not have a showroom or warehouse in those states: tables ship on a pallet by freight from the manufacturers in the Las Vegas area, and the carrier calls you ahead of time to book a delivery window. Delivery is to the curb; plan on helpers to carry the boxes in (BBO recommends two people for its tables). Alaska and Hawaii are not covered.
Frequently asked questions
What is a convertible dining game table?
A table that works as a dining table with its top on and as a poker or board game table with the top off. The Helmsley includes its dining top; on the Origins 2.0 and Origins 2.0 Max the matching top is an add-on.
Which tables include the dining top in the price?
The BBO Helmsley and the Game Theory Tables Helmsley. On the other models listed here the dining top is optional and sold separately.
Can I leave a board game set up under the dining top?
On the Origins 2.0 and Origins 2.0 Max, yes: the play area is recessed below the rim, so the dining top sits over a paused game.
Do you deliver to New York, New Jersey and Florida?
Yes. Curbside freight to the lower 48 states, including New York, New Jersey and Florida, is included in the price. Tables ship from the Las Vegas area; we have no local showroom or warehouse.
How long does delivery take?
1–6 weeks depending on configuration. Each product page shows whether the model is in stock, on backorder or made to order.
